Are PT Cruisers cool or good cars?

I’m thinking of buying a purple convertible PT cruiser, it’s a 2006. This is for college, so is this a “cool” car? Also is this a good car, does anyone know if PT Cruisers drive well? My other options (at extra expense) are a 2007 Ford F150, an 04 Cadillac CTS. What other cars are cool and cheap?

the PT Cruiser is sort of cool looking but it’s not a mechanically reliable car.
along with the Chrysler Sebring they are easy to find because the car rental companies buy and sell a lot of them.
both of your other choices are much better
The PT is basically a Dodge neon with new clothes, and they are not reliable as well
if your wanting a convertible the best and least expensive are the Ford Mustang and Mazda miata
the miata is sometimes gets branded as being a ***** car but if you ever drive one you’ll be amazed at the 50/50 weight distirbution, it makes driving fun
also avoid the VW beetle, it’s cute factor is again eclipsed by the poor reliabliity
if you want a VW buy a 09 or 2010 they are good cars, that Jetta TDI is amazing, and the GTI is a blast

For relaible what good is your cool you dont have lot of extra cash sitting around youre not in the key word is your cool car if its in the to be shopping for cool you need to shop for relaible what good is your cool you cant afford repairs.
